Taiwo is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a graduate of Accounting from the prestigious Covenant University, Nigeria. He spent his early career years across Banking, Audit, and Telecommunications industry in Nigeria between 2008 and 2013. Taiwo later joined the United Nations where he provides resource management support for Migration Management in Eastern, Western and Southern Africa. He also serves on the Board of various companies including Deobridals Limited, Owo Consults Limited and Four Pulley Limited.

Taiwo is married and has a son.
